I support individuals in navigating life’s challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, bullying, relationship and attachment difficulties, identity exploration, neurodivergence, ADHD-related challenges, grief and loss, communication and boundary-setting, life transitions, and personal growth. When appropriate, I also offer therapeutic approaches such as hypnosis and EMDR.

Strategic Conversational Hypnosis (PTR – Reassociative Trauma Psychotherapy)
Trained by IMHEB – Gérald Brassine
Talk therapy can be highly effective for many mental health concerns. However, for individuals who have experienced trauma or intense stress, talking alone may sometimes feel limiting. In these cases, hypnosis can be a powerful and complementary therapeutic approach.
Despite common misconceptions, hypnosis is not stage hypnosis or a loss of control. It is a natural, focused state of attention that most people experience in everyday life.
What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and absorption — similar to moments you may already know well. For example, arriving at your destination while driving without remembering every detail of the journey, or vividly imagining an upcoming event and feeling its emotional impact in your body.
Our brains respond to imagination and perception as if they were real. When we imagine danger, our bodies activate stress responses even if no threat is present. Trauma works in a similar way: it is not only what happened, but how the experience was stored and processed by the brain and nervous system.
Through hypnosis, we can work gently with these internal processes, allowing the nervous system to update and release patterns that are no longer helpful. This can support a shift from living in reaction to past experiences toward feeling more grounded, regulated, and present.
What Is PTR (Reassociative Trauma Psychotherapy)?
PTR is a trauma-informed approach that uses strategic conversational hypnosis to help access and transform the underlying sources of emotional distress — without requiring you to relive or retell traumatic events in detail.
This approach is:
Strategic – We work in real time with your sensations, emotions, imagery, and internal responses.
Conversational – Hypnosis occurs naturally through dialogue, without dramatic inductions or altered states of consciousness.
Empowering – You remain fully aware and in control throughout the process. I guide and support you, but your system leads the change.
PTR works with both mind and body, creating the conditions for sustainable and meaningful change in a way that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative.
What Can PTR Help With?
PTR can be helpful for a range of difficulties, including:
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety and chronic stress
Grief and loss
Trauma related to abuse, accidents, or medical procedures
Low self-esteem and negative core beliefs
(Additional areas can be explored depending on your individual needs.)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Trained by AHTMA - Patrick Lecomte
What Is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help individuals process and recover from the emotional impact of traumatic or distressing experiences. It is widely used in the treatment of trauma and has been endorsed by international health organisations.
Rather than focusing primarily on talking through events, EMDR works by helping the brain process unresolved memories and the emotions, sensations, and beliefs associated with them. This can support relief from ongoing distress and allow you to move forward with greater clarity, stability, and self-compassion.
How Does EMDR Work?
When we experience trauma or overwhelming stress, the brain may struggle to fully process the event. As a result, aspects of the experience can remain “unprocessed,” continuing to trigger emotional or physical responses in the present, such as anxiety, intrusive memories, or negative beliefs about oneself.
EMDR supports the brain’s natural capacity to process and integrate these experiences. During sessions, bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or alternating sounds—is used while gently focusing on aspects of the memory. This process can help reduce the emotional intensity attached to the memory and allow it to be stored in a more adaptive way.
You remain fully present and in control throughout the session, and the work proceeds at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
What Can EMDR Help With?
EMDR has been extensively researched and can be helpful for a range of difficulties, including:
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety and panic attacks
Grief and loss
Distressing memories related to accidents, medical procedures, or abuse
Low self-esteem and negative core beliefs
(EMDR may also be used for other concerns, depending on your individual needs.)
ADHD Counseling Support
ADHD therapy is tailored to your individual goals and needs. I offer a collaborative, strengths-based approach that supports self-esteem, emotional understanding, focus, and organisation.
For individuals with ADHD, therapy provides a supportive space to explore and navigate challenges such as emotional regulation, overwhelm, procrastination, and daily life management—while developing personalised strategies to thrive rather than simply cope.
Psychoeducation
Many people with ADHD grow up asking themselves: “What’s wrong with me?”
The answer is: nothing.
Psychoeducation is a key part of ADHD support. By understanding how ADHD affects the brain, emotions, and behaviour, clients can make sense of long-standing patterns and reduce feelings of shame, self-blame, or frustration. Knowledge creates self-compassion, and from there, meaningful change becomes possible.
Practical Strategies & Tools
Together, we develop realistic and sustainable systems to support everyday functioning. These may include:
Creating structured routines that work with your energy, not against it
Breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps
Using motivation tools such as rewards and positive reinforcement
Developing decision-making strategies that reduce overwhelm
All strategies are adapted to your lifestyle, values, and nervous system.
Mindfulness & Emotional Regulation
Mindfulness-based techniques can help improve focus, reduce impulsivity, and increase awareness of internal states. Emotional regulation work focuses on understanding strong emotions, reducing emotional overload or outbursts, and building resilience—especially in moments of stress, rejection sensitivity, or burnout.
Executive Function Coaching
Executive functioning skills such as planning, prioritising, time management, and self-monitoring can be particularly challenging with ADHD. Coaching support may include:
Identifying your personal productivity patterns and working with them
Understanding specific challenges (e.g. deadlines, distractions, task initiation)
Co-creating practical solutions that feel achievable and sustainable
Hypnosis Support
For some individuals, long-term ADHD challenges have contributed to feelings of failure, shame, or low self-confidence. When appropriate, hypnotherapy can support focused attention, mental clarity, and self-belief, helping to soften unhelpful internal narratives and strengthen a sense of competence and calm.
Parent & Family Support
For children and adolescents with ADHD, therapy often includes parent and family guidance. This may involve improving communication, setting clear and supportive boundaries, and creating a home environment that encourages regulation, confidence, and success—while reducing conflict and misunderstandings.
